"Foundation for Christian Living"

Jesus Christ is the Foundation for Spiritual Victory.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15
"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

Jesus is the very basis for all of the Father's work on the earth. Any attempts to build on some other footing only results in kindling for the refining fires, through which all shall pass. Those things done for Him and His work are purified and the Christian is rewarded with them. Whatever is not done for Him or His work are consumed. Bearing no reward. The Christian is eternally saved, but his labor is only rewarded, if it was indeed done for the right reason, Jesus.

The following Chapters show the pillars which prop up those who are trying to live righteously in close communion with the Lord. "Other foundation can no man lay" than Jesus Himself. These pillars stand on Him, affording those who are in fellowship, victory.
