On our way to prove that God is real, a look at how I was saved will be useful.

In 1976 we visited a country church about 4 miles from our home. The preacher was not the TV evangelist type, but he spoke with authority (be believed and stood by every word he said).

His constant message was salvation.
"Have you been saved?"
"Do you know if you are saved?"
"Don't you want to be saved?"
"etc."

I had no idea what he was talking about. I didn't know there was any such thing as being saved (salvation). So, I asked ...
